Download Demo Programs
You may see evolution in dynamics. Examples of genetic algorithm
optimization for different tasks may be downloaded from this page.
All examples use programs for Windows98/XP with screen area 800 by 600
pixels (several programs have switch between 800 / 600, 1024 / 768 and
1280 / 1024 screen area).
All initial data are included in corresponding EXE file. No any
additional files are created. .
Output is only to the screen and it’s possible to save result’s picture.
Maybe
sometimes it would be necessary to start program again to get better
results. It’s chosen optimal time/quality population of generations. To
get more stable results it’s necessary to increase population and number
of islands
It’s
evolution and every new start of the computer – new results, with some
differences bigger or smaller from time to time.
You
may use any download agent: browser, Get Right, Flash Get, etc.
1.Download
setupGA.zip file (1.94 MB), unzip it to any folder and
run setup.exe to install necessary components (file
setupGA.exe in a new folder after installation may be deleted).
Maybe
you already have these components in your computer. So first try to run
any demo file, if fail – then download setupGA.zip file.
2.Download
any demo file, UnZIP and run it.
3.Uninstall – standard for Windows:
Control Panel – Add / Remove
Programs - GA.
Examples
have from 3 to 5 islands with 52 members in every one. To get sufficient
results it’s necessary at least 1000 - 2000 generations – so it would be
several hundred thousands calculations for objects and it would take from 2 to
15 minutes ore more on 3 GHz PC.
Maximum
number of generations in examples is 2000, but you may stop earlier if
results are sufficient.
All buttons
have ToolTipText - when cursor hovers it describes function.
Install necessary components (these
are only additional Window's libraries)

NN
Program Set for Optimal Design of Material Objects
- design and train Neural Network
(NN) with Genetic Algorithms (GA), find optimal
solution for multiobjective problem on base of
NN with GA and on
the base of micro-GA for a very small population of material objects with
experimental study for every generation:
1.
NNdesign – design and train Neural Network on the base of Genetic
Algorithms.
2. NNoptimum – find optimal solution for multiobjective problem on
base of Neural Network with Genetic Algorithms.
3. NNcalc – viewer and calculator for Neural Network.
4. GAreal - find
optimal solution for multiobjective problem on base of micro-GA for a very small
population of material objects with experimental study
for every generation - direct measurements in the real world are
used.
Tools

Experiment Forecast with NN and GA
- method
for prediction of experimental results without models and hypotheses on the
basis of two databases: “past” and “present”. These may be the
results of the same phenomenon on different time steps (last year or month
and now, for example) or it may be measurements not connected with time for
similar objects. Such objects and phenomena may be of any nature: mechanical
properties of construction materials, chemical reactions, water supply and
wastewater, stock exchange, sport competitions, games etc.

Genetic Algorithm Optimization Of
Water Supply Pumps Schedule - optimization of a pump scheduling system
so as to minimize the cost of pumping over a 24-hour period. A pump
scheduling system delivers water to a reservoir
from an assumed infinite water source. Each pump may have its own
characteristics.
